Pap and Me, written by Arthur
Dorros, is a
Pura Belpre award winner. It is beautifully illustrated book with bright and colorful drawings. I like it when I see
bilingual books that are well written and bring true
meaning to the Spanish culture. This is a story about how a little boy and his Papa spend the day together. They do ordinary things, like walk in the park and visit
Abuelo and
Abuela, but they do it in such a special way. The two really enjoy spending quality time together and you can see the special bond they have. I really enjoyed this book. It makes a great Father's Day gift as well, from a son to a father.
